Light Habitats

“A clean well lighted place” is a famous novel by Ernest Hemingway but it is also a good name for the term to describe the simple beauty of the living space being created by the extraordinary talent of a new generation of “green architects & designers”.

It is time to reevaluate our traditional building concepts and methods.  We need to transition to more environmentally and financially sustainable solutions in order to avoid future disasters similar to the recent housing bubble burst. The more we do now to encourage the growth of sustainable, green building practices, the more secure our economy, country, and planet will be going forward.

The good news is that people seem to be getting the message of just how important green building is.  While the rest of the housing industry struggles, the demand for green homes is growing faster than ever.
